I’m Teresa Barushok, the owner of Barushok Bookkeeping LLC. I’ve spent more than 30 years building my career in accounting while balancing work, education, and family life. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting while working full time and raising two children—an experience that shaped how I approach my work today.

I originally planned to become a computer programmer, but I realized early on that I enjoyed working with people just as much as working with numbers. That led me to shift my focus to accounting, where I could combine analytical skills with meaningful client relationships. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of businesses and developed a strong understanding of what small business owners truly need from their bookkeeping support.

I started Barushok Bookkeeping LLC to help business owners regain time, clarity, and confidence. My goal is to be a reliable partner who manages the details accurately so clients can focus on growing their businesses and enjoying time with the people they love. Running my own firm also allows me to do the same—prioritizing family, serving my community, and staying involved in the things that matter most to me, including my love of football.
